Hey, I'm coming to Korea soon and would like to know how prevalent bargaining is in the country. I spent 2 months in China last year and really enjoyed the process of playfully haggling in Mandarin to get a better price. Does this happen at all in Seoul? I know it's not going to happen in department stores, but what about street-side markets?

All the time, and it's incredibly easy.
