Christine O'Donnell's 1996 Anti-Masturbation Campaign On MTV's 'Sex In The 90s'

Dollars to donuts, these "Satanists" were of the self-styled Anton LaVey variety, if even that serious. Still, probably not an overall plus for a right-wing Christian Republican to have this issue come up.

| she was a tea party candidate. They started off basically a fiscally focused group but by supporting candidates that are social conservatives, they are basically a fringe far right group. we don't any more groups to the fringe of either party. |

Calling it onanism is sorta incorrect. Onan was trying to deny his dead brother an heir and the lack of a child would put his sister-in-law out on the street, so he consented to intercourse and then pulled out.
Still, there are lots of people who make the arguement that masturbation is selfish and harmful to intimate relationships. That probably won't keep those people from voting for this woman. It would be foolish of her opponent to harp on this issue when she has plenty of real character defects and some evidence of money issues and tax problems.[/img] |

"Onanism" has two meanings:
1) coitus interruptus; and
2) masturbation
I used it in its second sense to respect some people's sensibilities. |
