Hi guys...we're kind of beyond what we can do on our own as far as getting our dogs to Yeosu from Incheon.

We're already planning our trip so that we're taking a late night or early morning flight from Dallas to Los Angeles, waiting a day, and doing the same from LA to Incheon. We're considering flying again from Incheon to Busan.

I had hoped it would not come to this, but PLEASE let me know if you or ANYONE you know who has a car would be willing to help us by transporting us and our dogs from Busan to Yeosu. If so, we would work out payment and be forever indebted to you. Even if you can recommend a business that would help us out, we would be SO appreciative.

Please let me know.

Just rent your own car....Kumhorent.com

They charge a pretty hefty fee for doing the 1-way rental so you'd either have to drive back up and then take a bus on the return, or pay the drop off fee.

Go down to AAA and get your international license, it's like 30 bucks...and then just make sure you get a car with a GPS and they can show you how to use it at the airport, plug in Yeosu and you're on your way.

It might seem daunting to drive to Yeosu, but it's not bad once you get on the motorway out of Incheon, and with a GPS it will be easy.

One option could be those call van taxis. There are a lot of them at Incheon that seat 6,8,12 people.

From ICN - Yeosu I would imagine it would be quite expensive W500,000~

But with two humans, two dogs and a lot of luggage it could be worth it.

You could ask your employer to organize one for you upon arrival.

THANK YOU! I had no idea there was such a thing. If you ever need a place to stay in Yeosu, as I mentioned, we are forever indebted to you!

My issue was that I didn't know I getting an IDL was so quick and easy. My husband read that it took 6-8 weeks, but I think that was to mail it in. We're going to AAA this week.

Just get two visa or passport size photos, fill out the application, the money and it's instant.

Yes...I forgot about the passport photos. If you have Fred Meyer's where you live, it's the cheapest.
