The same thing happened last semester. A group of teachers-to-be come in and observe a bunch of classes, and turn the English zone into a computer lab/meeting space, forcing me to travel to the homerooms for two weeks.
Twice in a year...does this happen at other elementary schools? I feel like my principal enjoys kissing ass or something. |

This is how they do their student teaching. It has nothing to do with kissing any part of the body. |

I was told I would get an English classroom this year.....nope! I travel to all classrooms, all week, every week. Just two weeks? I wish I was so lucky! |

Mine isn't for 2 weeks straight, but they have meetings every so often in our English Zone which puts it out of service. People get dressed up in thier Sunday best for these meetings. Even on Friday afternoons!
I guess casual Fridays is not a how they work around here. |

It's just like camping! Actually I think it's kind of funny. Stand outside the classroom for three minutes while the homeroom teacher prepares to step out to make room for the subjec teachers. Five minutes fumbling with the USB drive and having compatibility problems on the homeroom teacher's slow computer, do the lesson, three minutes before class is over the homeroom teacher is hovering outside, get out on the clock.
It's actually a little less work, in a way. |
