I need to get some innoculations for my summer vacation. Can I just go into any hospital and ask, or do I need to go somewhere specific?
I'm in Gunpo BTW. |

Unless you are going jungle trekking there is nothing extra that you need that you shouldn't have already had for Korea.
The usual ones can be obtained at any small hospital/clinic.

Outside of Bangkok and a couple places in the north / north east the rest of the country is the same as before. People are more concerned about books and stuff during the 1st week of school than politics.
The resort island are all safe and sane at the moment. Just don't fly into Bangkok. |

I was teaching Burmese students on the Thai-Burma border in one of the areas where malaria was said to be a threat. We were outside a small town (Mai Sariang). In all my time, I didnt meet anyone or hear about anybody coming down with anything (other teachers in the program, ect). no japanese encephalitis shots requires, ect. ect. if you are remote, then i suppose it couldnt hurt, but if you just stick to the beaches, then there's nothing to worry about, soak it up! |
