| I've just graduated from college with a B.A. in Psychology. I'm planning on applying through several recruiters in the next couple of weeks for a private school job in Seoul, but I won't be getting my actual diploma from my university for a few months. Is it possible to get hired with just a transcript that shows that I've received a degree, without the actual diploma? |

| no, afraid not. we've just had the same thing happen at our school. The guy even had certificate saying he was getting his diploma on a certain day and that wasn't good enough. It has to be the diploma or nothing at all. That said, different immigration places may read the rules differently, but I certainly wouldn't be confident about getting it accepted. |

| You can get a letter from your university that states you have either a) graduated or b) have completed the requirements to graduate. You do not need your diploma. I just got my visa with such a letter. |

| You don't need your actual diploma. Just get an official verification form from your university's registrar. The verification should include the total duration of your semesters/quarters (4 years), the degree you have completed (BA), the date you have completed your degree, and an authentication of some sort (usually in the form of the registrar's stamp, logo, or signature) to prove the validity of the document. Once you have the verification, you must also get it apostilled and notarized along with your CRC. |

Actually, Sometimes they don't recognize the official verification AS equal to a diploma. My school recently hired someone who just graduated, and wouldn't have taken her verification letter if I hadn't been there to tell them what it was. It just depends on if they can recognize it. Sometimes since their English isn't perfect, they don't know what it is and therefore don't accept it. It's hit or miss really. |
