The KRW to the AUD is lower than it's been for quite a while: 1001.3287 KRW to the AUD, as of 17th May (according to this). |

Good but irrelevant question for me. When I first came here in 2005 it was w800 to the Aussie. In 2006 it dropped to w699 briefly.
I think that the new super profits tax on mining in Australia could drive the Aussie significantly lower. But I'm an English teacher, what do I know. |

Ah, the good old days. My first year (from late '05) was the most lucrative for that reason. I guess the question is for those that do want to send money home. If you're hanging on to a rising balloon, you're presented with a difficult decision - let go before it's too late or hold on and keep getting higher, posing the question: how long can you keep a grip on the rope?
Or in this case, how long til the baloon bursts? |
