I disagree, Megelli is a totally sweet bike. 3 mil is a lot to spend, but as with anything there are degrees of quality, and you get what you pay for. This is a high end 125cc bike. This isn't a Pink Scooty Puff Junior 125cc. . .

Anyway, don't be too offended OP, you know you're in the Buy/Sell forums at Dave's when you have people with nothing better to do than talk smack to feel important Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

thedude - I think the OP's reaction is perfectly justified, given that you have come on his post, talked bollocks, then had the temerity to ask a question, then give him grief for giving you an answer. In short sir, the only turd on here is you.

The price of the bike is based on what it is actually worth, not what you consider a 125cc bike should be priced at. There is a big reason that 125's are enormously popular here and therefore can command decent prices - you don't need a class 2 license to ride them. 250's and 400's are great if you are willing to sit the fairly odd test here or have a license from home. The vast majority of people don't, and therefore the laws of supply and demand dictate that with high demand comes higher pricing.

Utter tool...

Fair enough. I stand corrected. Apparently there are people willing to pay this much for a 125, if only for the reason of licensing requirements.

With that being said, I would think the OP could give a little more information regarding why this bike is so much more valuable. Assuming the pics are recent, it looks great, but bikes with similar engines and bodies (not mileage) regularly sell for less than 1 million in this country.

OP. Good luck with the sale. If you'd like me to edit any of my posts, please send me a message.

well... this bike as I have said has less than 500klms.
you say less than 1 million for a similar bike? where are you getting this information? your asking why people buy a 1 year old honda civic when they can buy a 5 year old bmw ... its their choice.

i'm also not selling it at a brand new price. i didn't inflate my price because its got 'mods'... 'mods' you say which can barely be considered 'mods' . reflective tape, some better headlights, and an alarm doesn't mean i'm asking for more. If i was i'd price it at 4.5 million.
it makes it safer, and harder to steal.... if you check my old posts, 125s are stolen often in korea. my honda cbr125r was stolen which is why I bought this bike.

honda cbr's regularly sell for more than 3-3.5 for slightly used (2010).
even the 100cc apes and sym wolf's (chinese) sell for similar price if they are barely used. have you seen the prices of 125cc scooters from suzuki, sym, hyosung, and honda? i'm not talking about 5 year old beat up scooters. they are all upwards of 4 million.

please show me a bike with "similar styles and engines" for 1 million.
and if you show me a hyosung xiv or some bullshit bike thats 10 years old you should just stop posting in my thread.

oh and NO, i wouldn't want you to edit your posts. why would i want you to edit your self-ownage. next time give your opinions on a thread that you know something about.

lol, and wow have some backbone dude. just because someone called you a loser because of your 'asian girl' pic, you go and erase it...

There was this kid in junior high. One day we all teased the sh** out of him for wearing pinstriped jeans. Never saw those jeans again, but from that moment on we knew we had his number.

Just in case he's still reading, if he had simply googled the bike, like I did, he might've noticed, for starters, that the frame and swingarm are more similar to those of a Ducati than a Korean 125, that the bike weighs a good 50 pounds less than my Hyosung Troy (not to mention those Daystar-style cruisers), and that it has a rear disc brake (which I've never seen on any other 125).

OP, this bike is not my style, but if you had the naked version, I'd be doing some serious agonizing...

Good that he got called out for adding nothing to the thread. The OP is selling a nice, newish bike at fair market value. It's not some typical, beater 125 that sells for less than 1mil. As far as the rear disc brake thing goes; I'm pretty sure that my 2008 Daelim VJF-i has one.

Seriously sweet looking bike for a 125. I'd be interested but unfortunately the area i'm living would mean the thing would get knicked in a matter of hours.

Gl with the sale man.

i am interested but i have a couple quick questions. I had a bike in America (07 CBR600rr.. man i miss it). Anyways how do you keep it safe here? I had it garaged back at home but here I live in an officetel and wouldnt feel safe parking it in the underground garage. I know people who've gotten their bikes stolen even with 3 locks on it. Also can I just change my M1 license into a Korean license?

well 125s do get stolen often here. i know since my cbr got stolen which is why i bought this bike and installed an alarm.
if you have it chained up i'm sure it'll be safe. added insurance if your building has cctv cameras (usually officetels are fairly safe).

my 2-way alarm did pick up my bike from 10 stories up.
but it wasn't underground, just a cement covered parking bay.

not sure about your license.

price dropped.

Never been comfortable on these bikes (but wish I were)
so I'll stick to my cruisers.

However I do wanna say it's a pretty sweet looking ride.
Sure doesn't look like a small bike and seems like a good deal.

Good luck with the sale
