anyone here know any website/s you can use to text a cell in Korea on-line?
from the looks of things i found thus far, it doesn't seem possible. kinda strange for a 1st world country to not have this.
thanks.

There are others in addition to Skype, as well. The problem is that you really need to speak/read Korean well in order to find this sort of thing on the Internet. I see my Korean coworkers using online texting every day at work. |

You can send online text through NateOn as long as the recipient has their cellphone number tied tot their NAteOn screen name. |

Google voice (voice.google.com) can send texts for free to cell phones in Korea. I'm not sure if it can receive them from Korea or not, though it definitely can from America (it would be an international text, and I don't know what the charges would be, and I don't want to try).
It's still closed beta, but you can request an account at voice.google.com I believe. |
