Apologies for ANOTHER thread on the won.
With the current situation as it is, the won is falling pretty hard AT THE MOMENT. I'm certain the current NK situation won't amount to much, but it's obviously having an effect on the worth of the won (forgive my lack of economic knowledge). Just last week, 2 mil won = 1,217.445. Today, 2 mil = 1,121.246. So I stand to 'lose' around about 500 when I send all my money home at the end of June.
I know how volatile the situation usually is in Korea and it does fluctuate alot, but I really didn't want to lose that amount. Anyway, I'm deviating...
Essentially, all I want to know is how easy is it to do an international transfer of money between Korea and England. However, I'll be in England when I do it. I was thinking of keeping my money in Korea until the situation improves.
I'm with KEB if that helps at all. I know they have a KEB bank in London, so maybe something could be done from there? |

You are already with KEB.
All you need is the KEB Expat and remittance account and internet banking.
You can log on to your internet banking in any country and transfer it to your bank in the UK. |

Go into your local KEB and sign up for online banking. Also, bring in your bank in England's information: name, address, routing number, etc. Then you will be able to transfer whenever you want. |
