Friends:
In Egypt it was quite easy (depending on who you knew) to land a job teaching a non-English subject at a school where students were taught entirely in English, even without an degree in education. To what extent is that possible in South Korea? I have a degree in political science, and would love to teach something related at the high school level (or middle school) but I'm not sure if the same type of nonchalance happens here. Does anyone have any thoughts? |

I've known teachers who've done subject teaching, but I'd imagine you need some qualifications besides the degree.....My friend's who've done it do however have education degrees. |

Just out of curiosity, do your friends do that subject teaching for the public system, and is that what they do full time? |
