Ok.
Update-
Found a site(littlejohn) that sells them in korea. For 45-60K KRW.
New question- is there anywhere where that game can be had for cheaper?

Make sure you get the right one, there is one for older kids which is way too difficult for elementary school students. You can get the junior version, but I haven't used it. |

I love using Apples To Apples.
If you have a co-teacher with an English budget ask them to order them online.
I was able to get both the Junior and Kids sets from online in Korea.
Here are a few different ways to play the game:
Whole Class Activity - Teacher pulls an adjective and kids all have noun cards. Have teams - each team can make a sentence using the cards they have...
Group Work - Regular gameplay among groups
Pair Work - Give pairs a bunch of noun and adjective cards each - I usually sort out related cards beforehand, ie. animals, foods etc. -
Students would place the cards in order and make comparative sentences. |
