Just saw the series finale of the show and it was done quite well.
Oh well, too bad ABC decided to cancel the show as it was one of the better shows around, which is usually the case.
For those of you who watched it, share your thoughts. |

The overall premise of the show was intriguing, but the casting (terrible) and inane sideplots (afghanistan = yawn) did it in.
I give it a big "meh" |

If it was a "better" show then more people should have watched it.
Sadly you can Blame it on a number of this
1) VERY cheesy dialogue
2) Badly written Caharacters, and bad writing that didnt develop the chracters FIRST before giving us the whole FLashforward thing.
3) A 5 year story arc that provided very little flexibility in the show and give it the freedom to adapt to keep viewers.
4) A 3 month hiatus for no real reason
5) the staff jumping ship in droves as reasons 1-4 occurred.
I am loose friends with writer of the novel Robert J Sawyer and even though he saddened by the cancellation of the show he more than understands how little of a chace this show had given these 5 things.
That being said this show was TERRIBLE for the first 10 or 11 episodes, even the premiere was choppy and kind of missed the point.
It started to get exciting and interesting after about episode 11 or 12
Also knowing that the show was cancelled they should have reshot the ending and closed out the show, not left it on an obvious cliffhanger for a show that clearly wasnt going to be around for season 2.
Anyway in the end, I myself am mixed about the end. I actually got into it once it got going and there was an entire underground of people who have had flashforwards. BUt too many stupid decisions on ABC's part did this show in |

It could have worked if they had more of the team from lost involved.
I wasn't happy with it from the start, it was really just an effort to keep the audience confused rather than intrigued.
I mean lost had it confusing moments but the side steps and flashbacks and forwards kept it intriguing.
I didn't think flash-forward made good use of the flashing concept.
I don't think the Lost can't be copied.
I was still waiting for the Skipper and Gilligan to show up. |

The idea certainly had potential, but the casting wasn't great, the characters weren't developed enough for us to care about them before the flash happened, so it was hard to care about what they saw, and then there was that huge break in the middle of the season. |

I loved it. It was my favourite new show this year... well, maybe tied with Glee. I was so sad when I heard it was getting cancelled, and I blame the stupid random hiatus for it. (I know, I sound like a kid there ) |
