I remember calorie counter in the states, I love using them.
However most don't have many korean foods or they use weird names for them.
Is there a korean calorie counter(I've seen one advertised before). |

I'd love to see one as well. I remember seeing once on a Korean TV program that donkatsu has well over 900 calories in it...and that's all I know for Korean food calories! |

Bandi and Luni's in Coex has several books for sale that have pictures of the food and calories. They're good for getting an idea of how many calories are in things, but you never really know what the Kimbap Chunggook adjumma puts in each dish. I did learn, however, that one of those silver bowls of rice is about 300 calories. Very useful to know. |

I go to naver and I type the food. Naver will tell you the calories.
I was shocked when I saw the amount of calories in 1 bowl of Jjajangmyun. I think it had as much calories as a Big Mac combo meal. |

one serving of 자장면; 짜장면 Jajangmyen has 700 calories (probably because the noodles are fried/roasted - like most other ramiens - its junk food) |

Yeah but all junk food is not created equal even if they have the same calorie count. A Big Mac combo meal has a lot of other bad junk in it such as high sodium, fats, and glucose content. |
