The long term outlook for the won remains 1100, but in the near term, due to the Cheonan-related tensions, they expect it to drop to 1300.
This month foreigners sold more than $5 billion in Korean stocks. That's driving the won down. |

I can always wait around for a better exchange. Anyways not concerned and even if I do exchange a few million won now, I'm really not going to miss a few hundred bucks that I wouldn't have drunk away anyways. |

I was beginning to worry that I was the only one who sees the po-faced slomenity and certainty with which the doom-laden predictions are uttered as being a little silly. |

I'm pretty sure that the won will rebound within a few months. It's just panic over the warship incident and Seoul's reaction. |
