a friend has recently told me that apparently the first two years are tax free, so i can claim back what i paid.

im a british citizen and my mate (who is also interested if this is true) is irish. can anyone confirm if this is the case? i know the tax year ended today and im gonna get a small fine because my claim will be late, but i figure as long as i come out with money in my pocket, i dont really care how much i get fined!

cheers for any info
