Quite worth reading - a TEACHER IN KOREA gives the facts on the oddly subdued reaction to the sinking of the Cheonan by NK (and makes a few comments on why MCD and 2 girls killed by army tank events in SK led to such outrage)

I think it's time to let the South re-unite under Kim.
Just walk away. They don't need any help from the west.
How bad can the reunification be.
The industry of the South should be able to support the North.
Relocate the Korean facilities currently in China to the North.
Just do it, it won't be long before something reasonable emerges. |

Ha. B R Meyers is hardly some 'teacher in Korea', or 'TEACHER IN KOREA', as you put it. He's one of the leading western scholars on Korea. I doubt he's ever been screwed over by a hagwon boss. |
