Just as a thought, what did people make of the emergency budget in the Commons on the 22nd?

"Tax and Axe" as they say, complete deficit hawkery and a completely different direction to Obama's policy in the US of wanting to sustain the stimulus for longer.

Being abroad and away from the news, maybe you could elicit more responses if you explained:

Which Commons are you talking about? Canadian? British? The Commonwealth is a large large vast organization.

You could be right, I did initially think about posting links, but I thought to myself "Given that people on this forum ostensibly keep themselves abreast of worldly current events, it will be blindingly obvious what I'm referring to." I'm just curious to see whether people really think it's a step in the right direction, and what they think will happen.

I should probably have posted about Ron Paul, kids taken nude photos of each other, or picked on some other bug-bears or darlings of the right-wing. Laughing
