Ulsan is three weeks paid. But pay minus 22 hours of teaching since that's what we normally teach. Since some camps are well into the evenings this still means hefty overtime pay.

Wha? How many hours a day are you teaching camp? How many hours do you have to be at the school for?

I'd check my contract if I were you, since there are two overtime rates written into mine: teaching hours (20k) vs. working hours (6k)

Three weeks teaching elementary students 9-noon with a Korean teacher, and another 2 weeks teaching parents. Looks like I can only use a week of vacation in July/August so it's going to be a long hot summer if I have to deskwarm as well....

8 days.

Camp is three weeks but there are two NSETs at my school.

4 classes all in the morning. Required to be at school the usual office hours except for my 8 vacation days.

There are seven class periods per day, but with a long lunch and breaks in between. One classs period falls after 5pm which means 1.5 OT. And there's a double period at the end of just watching the kids (at 1.5 OT).

We're provided dorm rooms and fed all day so it's a decent three-week gig. Plus it's not that far from my house so I can choose to sleep there or ride home at night.

Some people didn't want to work all day and chose just daily camps, though they were lowly (but fairly)-paid since they were during school hours.

Looks like about 3 weeks - couldn't get mornings so will do about 3 hours in the afternoon probably split up between two groups. I may co-teach with a Korean co-teacher.
It looks like regular pay throughout summer break unless I'm gone for vacation time.

Don't know if and when I have summer camp. When do schools let teachers know? I really hate it when they plan things last minute.
