I don't know if any of you have downloaded any episodes of this show yet (only 4 so far I think) but I've sorta become hooked.. it's nice to see something original on TV these days..

Basically a plane crashes and only 48 people survive.. without giving away much more, they are basically stuck on this island and as the episodes progress you see that their chances of getting rescued are slim at best.. it's got alot of twists to it...

Anyways.. pretty good premise and they've done great so far with some character development IMO..

2 of the characters are a Korean couple who can't speak English.. if any Koreans catch hold of the first few eps, I'm sure some will protest the negative stereotypes portrayed by the husband...

Matthew Fox from Party of Five, and one of the Hobbits from LOTR are two of the main characters..

After reading your post, thought this sounded like an interesting show and decided to check it out. I think that it's pretty cool they have a Korean couple on the show, and am wondering just how they will be portrayed.

I'm downloading the first show now and will probably watch it later tonight.

I've been wondering just how good they're Korean is, because I've actually understood it all. Laughing

More importantly, when are we going to find out what that freaking monster is? It better be good, after all that build up we've gone through.

Laughing No subtitles. I think the point is that you're not supposed to be able to understand them.

The one I watched had subtitles. Hmmmm..... Confused

This is a great show. I've been reading up a lot on the net about it and it could go the biblical route or the sci-fi route (and then there are some who say the Bible is science fiction). Very Happy

It's going to be really interesting to see how the storyline goes.

subtitles oppsoeyo.

I don't see it going the biblical route.. i see it more as someone's science experiment.. hopefully it's not one of those evil corporation deals...

If you have caught yourself up to the latest episode I will point out two spiritual/biblical references...well one anyways. I'm of course not hoping to be preached to, but find it interesting this could be some kind of other existence.

Also, did you see what the boy had been reading? Again catch yourself up to the last episode (I peeked at spolers) Embarassed and I'll tell you about it.
