So, I might get fired in 2 months, and before I do, I would like to find myself another job if the complaints from parents about my teaching skill stops. So I would like to know, if I would need my original diploma and 2 copies of my transcripts in order to transfer my E2 Visa to another school? Thanks.

Transfer, no. You just need another school basically. How many months have you already worked. If less than 6, then you may need to do the whole process over again.

Yeah, less than 6 months. I talked with some recruiters and they said that I can use the same criminal record check that I gave to the current hagwon. I know that I have to go to Japan to get my visa. But yeah, I'm working on getting the transcripts and my original diploma. I should have ordered more copies of these things, but I'll be sure to do this next time around.

I left my Hagwon 2 months in and got a job with EPIK. For EPIK, you need a new apostilled CBC (the edu board is willing to wait for it), your original diploma, 1 set of transcripts, passport photos, etc. Your boss has to go into immigration with you to cancel your current visa and you need to get an exit order. Make sure your visa is cancelled on good terms with your boss... don't let them say anything negative about you to immigration.

In my case, it was beyond worth all the hassle.

Well, I am currently looking for a job at another hagwon, and the guy I contacted told me that its ok to send the same piece of paper used for the CBC that I gave to the current hagwon. But if the board of Education is willing to wait for it, then maybe I would like to try EPIK out. I have 3 months in my belt at least, so maybe that can account for something that I can use in the interview.
