I am an F2 working at a public school. I figure I make 150,000 won per day Monday to Friday working at the school. But I think it is time for a change.
First, I looked at the university jobs in my town of 500,000 people, but they don't seem to pay much (2.0 Mil or 2.1 Mil).
Second, I thought of just working freelance. I'd expect hourly wages of 40,000 (home private), 50,000 (office private), or 60,000-70,000 (company class). My town doesn't have many F-series holders and no one seems to be doing this.
Well I guess I'm looking for advice on whether you'd think an F holder in a town of 500,000 could make 150,000 won/day freelancing?
Cool to hear from anyone that's ever just gone freelance and their experiences. |

Take the uni jobs and freelance on the side.
The uni jobs should give you tons of paid vacation, and probably a lot less "in school" time through the week.
On vacation you can work as much as you can, and through the week normally you can be more flexible with your schedule.
I'd say uni jobs with an F-visa would be arguably the best position you can put yourself in if you work in this industry. |
