I am overseas and plan to go to Korea in late Augst. I know I will have missed the big rush for university jobs, so I am hoping to teach at a hagwon until the next round. I would like to know if you guys can suggest a good hagwon in Seoul. I want to be upfront with the hagwon and tell them that I plan to only teach for six months. I'm willing to pay my own airfare and housing. I just want to find something to keep me busy and pay some bills until March.
I know I'm being picky, but I really don't want to be teaching until 10 PM. any suggestions of good schools?
I have my masters in education and a TESOL. I've taught for over 6 years in Korea at various universities. The last time I taught there was six years ago,so I've lost all of my contacts.
Thank you for any suggestions. |

I would think about CDI. Even though they may work you hard, you will be able to get the hourly pay rate rather then the salary which pays a lot more.
They may take you if you are looking for just a 6 months contract. You should make 30000 won+ an hour on their hourly contract. |
