I got a win and win(costed me 600 dollars) and it's going to waste. Anyone know of any place that has lanes and targets? Anywhere in Seoul would be great, as that's where I live.
If you don't know where it is but just the name of the place then that would be great. Really, any information would be helpful. |

There are a lot of Korean traditional ranges in Seoul (about a dozen), but I'm not aware of any for FITA-style. You might like to check with Eugene Lee at www.archerylife.com, as they run an institute for both traditional and FITA archery. |

I don't think this will be overly helpful but I remember walking by an archery range when a friend and I decided to walk the length of Cheongyecheon and then some. I know nothing about archery but there were some people inside of this really long outdoor "corridor" and some strange fencing that separated the corridor from the normal walkway of the park along the river/water. I saw enough to see people with high tech bows and targets really far from them. I was actually amazed to walk the length of the range from the outside and see how far the targets were from the archers.
I believe I saw it near Oksu/Eungbong/Hanyang Univ. |

You're welcome, Cap'n
crsandus, if the targets were a long distance from the shooting line, it was probably Korean traditional archery you were seeing, as targets are 145m away. |

from what i can gather, it costs 50,000 won for an hour and half and up to 4 people. I'm not sure how many lanes that you will get though.
it's near omokgyo station on line 5 and is in walking distance.

I was looking into finding a place too but I have been waiting for it to get a little warmer. I ran across this site when I was searching. Maybe you can find some useful information if you poke around a little.

According to my boss, there is an olympic style range in Jamsil near to the Lotte World amusement park. I don't know about prices or opening times but it's worth a look.
On another note, does anyone know where I can find an archery shop? I haven't shot in a long time and I want to get a basic wooden recurve. |

I've seen a few along the river. Off the top of my head, there's a place on the Anyang-cheon stream next to the Mokdong baseball stadium and also a place near the Han-eul (Sky) park next to the river. However, I don't know what kind of standard/length they are... |
