Just got a new position teaching at an elementary school in Seongnam to begin in June!
I was wondering what the cost of living is like in Seongnam? (I taught in a country town previously)
What are some cool places to hang out at?
How long does it take to get to Seoul from Seongnam?
What are the grocery stores/supermarkets in the area?

| You'll really need to say which part of Seongnam City you'll be in. The northern part of Seongnam city and the southern part (bundang) are two different worlds. |

There were a few threads recently about 'old' Seongnam. It's a very working class area. A bit rough, but don't be deterred. I lived there very happily for a year back in 2000-2001....It's a lot of fun. A real vibrant urban environment.
Just type 'seongnam' or 'sungnam' into the search engine. |
