I have been reading up on the dispute between NK and SK on the forum and as far as I am aware, no-one seems too worried.
We are meant to be coming to Ulsan in August. Is this (see below) something to be worried about?

Well, between now and August, you'll probably get a better idea of how things will have developed between the two Koreas in that period. As opposed to the predictions people will make now.
Be that as it may, I'm not seeing this war-of-words over the propaganda broadcasts as having much import. I'd definitely take NK's threat to turn Seoul into a "sea of flame" with a truckload of salt. That's just standard Nork bluster every time the South does something they don't like.
But everyone had to make their own decisions, based on what they feel comfortable with. Like I say, you'll probably have a better idea come August. |

It could be a problem is the North attacks that equipment like they threatened they were going to which in turn sets off a chain of events leading to an all out armed conflict. In my opinion it's childish immature behavior to go antagonizing them with loud speakers. I feel the South is looking to pick a fight out of negativity. I don't feel content with the countries vibe, jibe, or whatever the negativity is. |

Thanks for the advice. I wasn't overly stressing but it seems a shame countries are behaving in this way! I will wait and see, I don't have to resign from my current job for the next 6 weeks.
Thanks

Lee Myong Bak: So let's have at it. To say the world is sick of your shit is an understatement.
KJI/ Military: We have nukes.
2MB: Are you honestly gonna nuke us? You know you're full of crap with that saber-rattling.
NK: Puppet state!
SK: Piss off. |

In this article, it states that war between North and South Korea can come at anytime: http://www.cbc.ca/world/story/2010/06/15/un-north-korea-press-conference.html?ref=rss
Since North Korea claims that they didn't sink the ship, they are sticking to that stance.
"War may break out at any time," the ambassador warned. "If the Security Council release[s] any documents against us condemning or questioning us ... follow-up measures will be carried out by our military forces." by Sin Son-ho from North Korea who rarely gives news conferences
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
North Korea is a country which has 'big brother' type security. No sense of fun and adventure and spontaneity.
They also still believe that Kim Il-sung is still alive... |

Or more precisely, that North Korea says war can come at any time. |
