One more week to go people.

Anyone else like me and even though this show is Jerry Springer Lite with cooks, they just love it?

Best Moment ever was in like Season 4, Guy comes up to Gordon complaining that he has no pumpkin in his Risotta, Gordon Poliely tells him that he is doing something and to give him a minute.

Guy gets beligerant and demands his pumpkin, Gordon looks at him and says "Right, I'm gonna get your pumpkin and ram it up your _________ would you like it whole or diced? Can we get security and get knob back to his seat please"

Does Gordon ever say anything nice? Seems like he's always telling people off.

He's a one joke comedian.

My favorite line so far is "come here, Why don't you do me a favor, huh? F--- off!"

This is the only reality show that I like. I'm not interested in cooking or anything, I just love watching people get crapped on and how they react.

I didn't click the links above but best moment for me was the ex-marine guy challenging him to fight and mouthing off "I ain't nobody's bitch" or something..

I love cooking, and I love Ramsey yelling and calling people f-ing donkeys. Thanks for reminding me that the new season's started. I haven't watched much TV on home leave, but I'm back in the land of Corre tomorrow.

$7.5 million dollars a year is what he gets for abusing people.

Anthony Bourdain earns $1.5 million a year for his show No Reservations. Nice job, eating, getting drunk and travelling all over the world and being paid millions of dollars over the last 10 years for it.

I find Gordon Ramsey extraordinarily vulgar and can't understand why anyone finds programs where people are verbally abused entertaining.

Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares, apparently showing real restaurants, was a great show, however, and a lot less foul mouthed.

Ramsey clearly goes over the top (acting, essentially) on Hell's Kitchen, since the rather dim audience evidently finds swear words funny. Rolling Eyes

+1

Nothing entertaining about it unless you're a 10-year old looking to pick up a few naughty phrases.

Perhaps some of the ladies get a wee bit turned on by an angry Englishman... Embarassed He could cut the vulgarity out and I'd still watch in order to see him get angry.

Have to agree. The British version of the show where he goes around fixing up restaurants is really entertaining. And his interactions with the people are far more authentic. His latest shows are set up and fake. Jerry Springer Lite with cooking, as the OP said. They follow a very set pattern. You meet the people, a conflict either occurs or is created. The conflict is resolved, the end.

Agreed. He has as much class as the soup nazi on Seinfeld.
