What's your ride?

I just bought a 2009 Santa Fe diesel. And so far no complaints from me.

Sante Fe is a pretty popular car in the States it seems. Although if I were to buy a car in the States, I would but Japanese. What I don't understand is Koreans driving American cars. Why would you pay more money for a crappier car?

I appreciate the variety in colors. White, off-white, tan, light brown, black... the list just goes on and... no wait it doesn't.

This post was only slightly more original than the recent onions at Costco post.

Anyways, I am jealous of your ability to buy a new ride but I live in Seoul and find no use for it here. Unless I could buy a W200,000,000 car and drive it around to pull in *bleep*.

American cars here... as you know sometimes quality isn't the only factor. Looks, being able to say you (over)spent so much on the car...

Yeah that's probably it, but it's not like American cars are known to be "prestigious" cars. Most of them don't even look that great. Do Koreans see a Ford Accord and go, "Wah"?

I saw a Dodge Caliber / Charger? on the road here and at least it caught my eye because of the color and body, which I guess was the intended effect...

I also appreciate Korean cars, especially when not driven by Koreans.
Actually I appreciate any car not driven by a Korean. Gives me that nice warm feeling of being able to cross the street safely.

How much did you pay for it....did you take out a loan?

I bought a new SM3 at the beginning of the year with a 0% interest loan...not bad.

I'm not Korean, but I think most Americans who see a Ford Accord would go "Wah?!?!?!"

You're not Korean but you defend Koreans/Korean Culture tirelessly on this message board. What's your stake in all this? I don't get it..

If I was making bank..like you claim you are...then why would I care what a bunch of white losers were saying about another people that I have no association with.

It's a diesel. So you're going to get some vibration. But the life of a diesel engine is 2-3X that of a gas engine.
