I was making a movie the other day and I had to use my video editing software to mix some sound clips together. it was an awful experience. I was basically trying to overlap 2 layers.i downloaded audacity, but it doesnt look too friendly to use.
i dont want to make music, just have an easier time mixing audio. what are some solutions for me? |

what's your video editing software?
what kind of computer are you using?
how many tracks do you need to edit?
do you want something free or are you willing to pay some $$? |

| Audacity is very lightweight compared to some other programs. I use it for basic recording and editing when I make materials for work. I found it fairly straightforward because it is a very basic app. |

Lightweight and extremely powerful. I highly recommend it. Unlimited evaluation period. |

I've gravitated towards using anything by NCH, an Aussie company. They make outstandingly simple yet powerful stuff. They "get it". Wavepad I think is now freesource and might have enough for your editing purposes.
