I heard her "great hit" and it barely sounds better than K-poop.
The act of doing something/anything to astound people or freak them out is a little old, and was done much better by a far more attractive Madonna 20 years ago.

Pink can play that game, but she(at least to me) exhibits actual talent.

so what gives? (and yes Beyonce's Put a Finger on it song is lame, not even remotely in same league as some of her best stuff like Irreplaceable or the duet with Shakira)

now I hear Green Day (a very vanilla "rock" band, but I kinda like them) is going on Broadway.

It's a good thing the EDM scene is going strong, especially globally.

People believe she must have talent because unlike the rest of the people who are singing these days...she is woefully unattractive, and not in a somewhat unattractive kind of Christina Aguilera way...but in an outright, prime candidate for plastic surgery, looks like a guy in drag sort of way.

Maybe they're right. Who gives a crap what singers look like...if you spend more time looking at them than you do listening to them, you've got your priorities seriously screwed up.

I've never seen one video of hers nor heard one song but I've seen like two pictures and heard off-hand accounts and it was enough to assign her to the pantheon of Comcast, American Idol, American Apparel, and the Pontiac Aztec in the "Clear Sign of the Devil on Earth" category.

And thank you for using the term K-poop, it's nice to know I have some influence on this board.

It's standard dance pop made by an individual who writes her own songs and plays and composes her own music. It's catchy.
If you hate dance pop, you won't like it.

I don't normally listen to it, but I don't actively hate it. At least it's not pop pretending to be rock or punk. It epitomizes its genre well, I think.

I also think she is crazy looking and therefore very pretty.
