hey,
i did the same thing last year, but i was in suwon.
you mentioned your mother's nationality? you'll want to check with the immigration office.
you'll need to obtain a few things first
you'll need to get a 거소, or family registry from your mother's side.
if you know her address from before she immigrated or her korean ssn, it'll help a lot.
my name wasn't on my family's, so i had my mother send me a copy of my birth certificate and proof of her u.s. nationalization forms
