bahaha, pretty sad if that's the best apartment setup they found. Looks like my piss-poor uncle's mobile home back in the 90s. |

Gotta' love the HP computer.
The thing is, she's cute, but not much past that. I see 10 girls a day that would blow her away. |

And as she looks lovingly at her two young siblings, she wonders: Little Kim, mal nutrition will leave you short and the women will think you're a loser. And little Kim (the other one) will no doubt grow up and flee to China where she will work without pay and be sexually assaulted by her employer without recourse.
Workers paradise here we come! |

Yeah, I also got a chuckle outta that.
Then I got all serious and considered the options. A Japanese or S. Korean computer would have been just as "bad", but couldn't they have used a Chinese brand?
The whole film crew and their entire families should be sentenced to the gulags for that major F/U. |

You wouldn't happen to know what format that video is, would you? For some reason, my computer doesn't recognize it. |

For me, it loads in Adobe Flashplayer. The video is available on YouTube, also.

Um... waitaminute... That clearly looks like Word running on a Windows platform. And yes, you can see the HP logo. Great juche, guys.
Nice rabbit ears on the television! The height of 60s technology. They might turn it on to show if it's a color set.
That pleading, whining, Sally Struthers voice she has gets wearying about :30 into the clip. When will the subtitles with 'You can help for only 30 cents a day' begin?
Well, I know Koreans have different standards of beauty for women, but if that's the best they can do, they need to take a walk on my campus on a sunny Friday afternoon. |

I suppose she doesn't look bad, but beauty? I've seen North Korean female police officers more attractive than her. |

I remember hearing someone say that North Korean women are better looking than their South Korean counterparts. And South Korean men are better looking than North.
This might have something to do with it:
Quote: |
In his study Height and weight differences between North and South Korea, Daniel Schwekendiek, an economist from the University of Tuebingen in Germany, compared 2002 data that showed preschool children in North Korea were up to 5 inches shorter and up to 14 pounds lighter than children who were brought up in South Korea.
A 2006 study of 1,075 North Korean defectors aged 20 to 39 put the difference for adults at 4 inches for men and 2.5 inches for women. A 2004 study said the difference was 2.3 inches for young men and 1.6 inches for young women. |

It's one of the old 4 syllable Korean proverbs. 남남북녀. |
