Hello there...

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about a school or a branch of schools called "Summerhill"? The particular location I'm asking about is at Yangjae-dong. I'm trying to figure out if that's just a dummy name on the contract until the actual name shows up and it's on the blacklist.

Thanks!

If you can't read korean, it says 'gangnam summer hill' (서머힐 양재동) on the top.

The names on that site are Lee Eun Sun, or 시민의 Shi Min Eui.

Wasn't Summerhill the name of that idealistic school somewhere in the South-East of England that let students have total control of their own education - where they had student committees to decide on the rules and the syllabi, and let the kids just have the run of the place?

Does the one in Gangnam have the same ethos? Might be an interesting place to work, if it does? Wink although, somehow I doubt it?

Given the evidence, it can only be assumed that this school will indeed follow that very same model. And I will surely write a book about my experience, called "Seomeohirr II". haha

Thanks for the link! I couldn't find any more about it, whether that's bad or good who knows. I accepted the position.
