Don't forget Canadians don't do soccer either. Just because most people like it doesn't mean it's great. Soccer is for whinny, over dramatic, diving pansies who can't play a real man's sport.
If you want a real sport watch ice-hockey or rugby.

God these my game is better than your game arguments are boring and juvenile. I havent seen any American articles linking soccer to Communism so far this year,so thats a good sign.

Actually, I enjoy watching the game but a month every four years is about enough.

Actually it's pretty easy for peasants to have a pick up game of soccer. You see it all over Latin America.

That Baggio miss broke my heart at the time. He had probably the greatest single player performance ever(after 86 maradonna). He dragged Italy to the final. To go out like that was awful.

I remember the shock defeat in 2002, of Senegal over France (then the current Euro champions). It's stuff like that that makes the WC so exciting.

I'm kind of sneakily rooting for the Norks this time, because they are the ultimate underdogs, ranked at only 105 in the world. It would be pretty fun to see them spectacularly exceed expectations.

Give me rugby any day. NZ vs Australia? I'm there.

Soccer is a children's game in the states because it's easy.

What? Don't yanks play a girl's game of rugby where they dress up in padding and helmets and call it American Football? hehe
