hey guys, just wondered if anybody might know about this
I worked in Korea last year for a while, and I had a Korean bank account with Standard Chartered. It's now nearly a year since I left Korea, and I still have the ATM card and bank book. I am coming back to Korea soon, and I just want to know if they would have closed the account automatically when my last E2 was cancelled?
Obviously it would be useful to already have a bank account rather than wait for the ARC in order to get one!
Any help appreciated |

It's probably still open (provided you had some money left in there)
I've left the country for two year with just 10,000 won in the account and it was good when I got back. |
