I just heard that Scrooge can no longer air the South African channels that drew crowds there. I'm assuming the satellite TV service is also no longer available at other places with the same satellite dish.

So rugby watchers are out of luck?

super sports put their prices up in asia. and the asian provider wouldnt pay it. so nobody has super sports at the moment. its not just scrooge. the weekends test matches will be shown on the australia network though. which he has and also at home for some people.

most places will use the internet to stream it most likely.

but yeah, it sucks

Super 14's done and dusted for good..

But I watched, two live games at the weekend NZ Maori vs NZ Barbarians, then AB's Vs Ireland. Plus all the Aussie and Safa stuff was available free of charge over the internet

myP2P or spvod.com are both free and usually reliable, my P2P has had the better stream lately, been watching the State of Origin as well via myP2P.

I also just get a local pub to play these streams if theres enough people interested

it'll be played somehow, most likely via the net. you can watch super 14s very easliy online. its done and dusted this year. as the season is over of course.

this coming year. setanta asia are showing all the super 14s, tri nations, six nations and the guiness premiership. i think its about $60 for one year. i'll be doing that. scrooge will sort it out. too much demand not to be showing it.
