Hey everyone,
just a quick question: When I make a copy of my degree to get it notarized does the photocopy have to be the same size as the original document? My university degree is quite a bit larger than letter sized paper, so can I have Staples photocopy and resize it into an 8X11?
Sorry if this is silly question, this is all new to me...thanks in advance!

I was wondering the same thing. I haven't passed mine into the recruiter yet, but when I asked the ppl at kinkos they made it a bit smaller, saying that is what many people do when they get copies of their diploma made. Hope that is acceptable anyway!

Don't you need it certified, notarized, apostilled?

I had to get mine certified. A certified copy. What I did was just a scan, bring it in to a special office on campus, they put a special seal on it.. like a raised seal, and attach something along with a signature to certify it is a genuine copy, then they notarize it.

Anyway, I just did a scan and printed it out on 8x11.

It doesn't need to be the same size as the original. A notary and apostille is just certifying that it is a copy of the original and nothing on the copy was changed from the original. No worries.
