Hm, so I bought one of these beauty's off the internet only to find it is not accepted on Korean networks.
*sigh*
Not serious, I have a friend in China who wants it if I can't get is sorted.
But, does anyone know of a way to jailbreak/unlock these things?
Internet searches all have the same answer - buy the code. But if the networks here don't accept the phone then it's more money wasted.
Ideas? |

you cant use an unlocked phone on any of the korean networks. period. they do something called whitelisting which means only phones sold by them can be registered (imei detection) on their network. if you want to have the phone kcc certified you can send it off and pay a 250-300 thousand won fee. worth it? probably not...
you have to buy an sktel berry.
consequently, im selling my previous generation bold at the end of the month (now) and have a pretty damn good monthly plan to transfer over. it's yours if you want it. pm me. |
