I went a tad overboard last week ( REI anniversery sale). Upgraded
the gear kit.

New tent, water filter, boots. etc.

All together came to 300 USD.

Bought some books off amazon.

45 USD.

Girlfriend got in on the action and asked for this 358 USD handbag.

Total price of everything is around 700.

Had it all shipped to my parents house and they are about to send it
over. Trouble is I have never had this much/ and so expensive sent over.

Should I break up the shipments and have it sent in 2 or 3 boxes to avoid the customs/ taxes?

Kinda worried customs might sieze it and make me pay through the nose.

thanks.

package as used items (remove tags etc).
package in price lots of $150 or less.
INDICATE the value as 120k won per box

and they will come right through.

SEND them to your SCHOOL to ensure that you actually get them and the don't end up going to the adjuma down the hall from you.

EVEN BETTER: have someone at your school type you an address label in KOREAN (e-mail it to your folks as a .jpg so they can print it off - like a photo) and have that attached to the box as well as the address in English.

$358 for a handbag? I hope that it's made out of real human hands for that price.
