Has anyone succesfully gotten out of SMOE to transfer within EPIK, even if its just a province or Gwangju or Daejeon? I Know Busan, Jeju and some other desirable places are full. GEPIK and some of the rural stuff (CEPIK, JEPIK, etc) hires every month, so no worries there. I know SMOE doesn't offer letters of release, and with hundreds of SMOE'rs that have contracts that end August 24th, a few days into the EPIK orientation, I'd imagine its tough to get into. Maybe I just answered my own question?

You might lose whatever experience bonus you've gotten. But, EPIK generally pays higher and you guaranteed to get the living stipend even if they give you an apartment so it should even out.
