Will be going to Jeju for a weekend during the summer. Havent been yet and was wondering what areas would be good to stay. Want to be close to a beach as well as being near restaurants and etc. Maybe somewhere outside the main city but close enough so we can maximize our time on the beach and not travelling around. If anyone knows of specific places that would be cool too. Thanks.

I recommend staying in Seogwipo, on the south coast. There's a couple good hostels there, and it's near the good beaches. There's also a place to rent a scooter over near the resort area.
