Hi all,
When I first started working here in August 2008, there was a big uproar about the criminal background check. I remember that there was a post with each state listed with its corresponding website for getting the CBC.
2 years later and tons of posts later, I can't seem to find that particular post.
Can anyone tell me how to find that?
Much appreciated. |

I don't know about that thread, but try going to your state's official website. You should be able to find information about getting a state criminal background check. If you want the countrywide cbc, which might not be a bad idea as requirements keep changing, go to the website for your state Bureau of Investigation. |

I actually had bookmarked that site because obviously it was very useful.
just checking now, seems the org that sponsored the info has changed their site around and the link is now dead:
http://www.casanet.org/program-management/volunteer-manage/criminal-bkg-check.htm
you'll be redirected to a new site; I tried searching in their box but came up with a lot of choices, checking one or 2 it didn't come up but that doesn't mean it's not there.
maybe you can search for it (if it's available) and post the new link?
if not, maybe there's another one somewhere on the net - can't imagine there's only one |
