I currently live in a 33 pyong soulless mid-rise, in the midst of towering high-rises that suck my very will to live, and wish to rent it to someone and use the jeonsu money to buy a low-rise villa in either Hapjeong/Hongdae or Bukchon/Daehangno.

I don't know much about villas, but it seems like there basically are no 33 pyong size villas in Seoul (unless they're ultra new and ultra expensive). Is this correct or is it still possible to find larger-sized villas in these neighborhoods?

I would appreciate hearing from people who have lived in these areas for a long time...and I'm more than happy to buy a lunch for you if you could spare time to give me an insider's tour of these neighborhoods (best areas to focus on, best shops/restaurants, etc.)

Thanks.

You must have really drawn the short-straw to end up living amidst towering high-rises and soul-crushing architecture. In Seoul no less.

Edit- since I sympathised, can I have a light snack?
