So I may be doing what I said I would never do and return to Daegu for another year. I was set on Seoul (and still kind of am), but I've been offered a pretty laid back job at a school that's willing to provide a housing allowance, which I've surprisingly learned that most schools refuse to do.
Anyway... most of the threads about finding an apartment here are usually about Seoul. Anyone have personal experience in Daegu? What's the typical rent like for a 1 or 2 bedroom villa near a subway station? Ideally I would like to live relatively close (less than 15 minute commute) to Keimyung or Kyungpook as I will be studying in the morning at one of the two schools if I stay in Daegu.
How much is the average key money? I can probably manage about 5mill, but I'm hoping something around 2.5 can get me a decent place.
I know I could probably find this all out if I went to a realtor or whatever, but I'm just curious as I'm debating between this job and a position in Seoul at the moment. |
