|
|
My vacation is July 17 to August 15 and Im considering going to Bohol. Im concerned about the weather and having trouble finding accurate information.
Is the rainy season during the time period mentioned above? If yes, how bad is it? Does it tend to rain for a few hours every day? Or does it tend to rain all day every day? Am I better off spending that time in another country?
I understand that no one can predict the weather, but Im looking for advice from people who have spent time in Bohol in July and August. |

On Wikipedia, you can see average rainfall and temperatures per month.
Or ask Ttompatz. |

The weather pattern has been put off this year due to the El-Nino effect. There has not been any significant rain on Bohol since last December.
In July/August USUALLY you get one or two hours of showers during the day with lots of sunny time for other activities.
There is usually a change in the weather pattern from north west to the south east but again, that hasn't happened this year.
Truth be told, the wettest months over the last few years have been Nov./Dec., contrary to the accepted weather patterns that you see posted on many web/travel sites.
