Note to anyone involved in hiring for university camps:

If you only have ONE position to fill, please don't go through a hiring "process". Just pick one person, do a quick interview, and hire him/her on the spot. I'm sure any one of the 10 people on your "short list" is overqualified for the job. Please don't waste everyone else's time on emails, phone calls, travel, interviews, follow-ups, etc. It's just a camp job after all.

Two years in a row I've had a ton of time and energy wasted and was only told afterwards that there was just one spot open. First, Andong Univ. and now Kyunghee Univ.

nearly every company does this. If you put "One" spot on the advertisement. Either no one will apply or only a very small # will apply.
