no but i'd be down for a mean game of pogs. You can't touch the 8-ball slammer. |

O GOD! I remember pogs... I never saw it played, but I got one or two in a box of cereal. I didn't get it.
I also remember Magic the Gathering, circa Urza's Destiny. I actually read a few more of the novels after I quit playing, but the quality really went down-hill after the Apocalypse. I guess I just didn't care after the Urza vs. Phyrexia story-arch played out.
But good luck finding players. I'm surprised it's lasted 15 years! |

My husband played old school when he was younger. More recently, he plays online. The good thing about this is that the company will allow you to trade in your virtual cards for paper ones if you are so inclined. But it makes purchasing and trading a lot easier since it's all electronic. Also you can just pop into various types of games with players of various levels. Highly recommend.
He tried to teach me with whatever deck was out 6.5 years ago, but he was a terrible teacher. It seems like a fun game, though. |

I've been playing since Homelands, and yeah, Magic has had it's ups and downs since then. Right now though the game is more interesting than ever. I'd give it a shot.
If any of you live in Busan, throw me a post or a PM. I got the cards, all you gotta do is bring your fine self. |

As it should be. Now bow, BOW, simpleton! Know thy place before Gorgechev, dark lord of the peninsula MUA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
I just tapped my own arse to deal 3 direct damage and destroy three of your lands! And it only cost 3 red mana!
That's right. Mess with this kid again. I've got Fountain Watch, PWNAGE!
And only slightly off-topic:

Yes, make yourself even more of an outcast by playing a game that everyone hates back in your home country... while in Korea.
"Go outside" should be the only answer to this.

mtg hasn't been fun in a long time. I used to play towards the tail end of high school before it really took off. I got in about 6 months before the expansions started rolling constantly and the tournament scene really went crazy. once that happened it was impossible to get in with a group that didn't have at least one guy who stayed up all night building the perfect turn 2 kill deck which basically ruined all the crazy combos that you could come up with in more casual decks because you'd never get a chance to use them. |

Yeah, I tried playing Standard (type 2) for a couple of expansions and then got sick of it. It cost too much money, too much time spent trying to keep up with whatever decks were the best, etc. Nowadays I play casually, usually drafting booster packs or a random assortment of cards.
edit: a mod deleted my response to gibberish. Gibberish, get out of my thread, you don't know what you're talking about. |
