I have come across a sudden problem. I have this wooden rug-type thing. Those ones you can roll up and store away. It covers about 1/3 of my floor space and I have a large bowl on it where the pipe to my giant air con is temporarily directed until someone comes to extend it into the drain. This releases water due to the condensation the air con creates (which I have dubbed 'conair').

Anyway I went to empty it out after two days and lifted it and already somehow there is a cake lining of mould underneath. I wasn't aware there was any spillage, but ho hum, the bottom must have been damp from the start or something (a mere three days ago). Then i lifted a pillow I have on the rug as part of my Baduk setup, and lo and behold, more mould. The other pillow is on the actual floor and is unaffected, fresh and clean.

I need mould remover. I have a mild phobia of mould, I can't even look for a few seconds without gagging - though I will have to now. Any way I can find it in this country, with the inability to speak korean?

Grab a spray bottle, get some 락스(Clorox bleach) and dilute it with some water but not too much, spray the mixture all over.

The simplest, cheapest yet the most effective way to fight the mould.

A dehumidifier is not a bad idea here during the summer months.
It's one of the best purchases I've made next to my air purifier.

Vinegar... 락스... I'll have a shop around tomorrow and annihilate the demons. (Been stuck in Itaewon enduring terrible world cups since making this post. Dirty Ghana. Dirty.)
