What is kiteboarding / kitesurfing?
Kiteboarding is one of the coolest sports around. It is a combination of surfing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, paragliding and skateboarding. It is possible to throw tricks from all of these sports as well as many tricks that are unique to kiteboarding. There is nothing more exhilarating than flying. It is possible to jump 100feet high and the length of a football field.

Is it hard?
There is a 2-3 month learning curve. Once you are able to get up on the board and ride in any direction you please, you will be hooked.

Equipment Needed:
In order to kiteboard, you will need a kite, a harness and a board (surf or wakestyle).

For Sale:
1. 2009 Cabrinha Convert IDS 15m (Wind Range: 6.9-13.9 knots / 10.5-19mph)
-The Cabrinha Convert is a beginner kite that is quite versatile. It is suitable for beginner and intermediate riders. It is adequate for advanced riders but not the most ideal.

-The wind is only a suggestion. I have flown my 15m kite in 20 knot winds. That is when you get some serious hangtime (I have jumped over 5 stories high and seen the tops of buildings)..

-2009 was the year that the Cabrinha introduced the IDS (Intelligent Depower System). The IDS system allows you to fully depower your kite in the event of an emergency. Cabrinha was the first company to introduce this system. Only a handful of 2010 kites from other companies offer this feature.

-Kite Condition: The kite is in amazing condition. I logged very hours on this kite. It is like new. There is no discoloration. There aren�t any rips. The control bar was hardly used. I often used the control bars from my other kites. If you are only going to buy one kite, this is the kite that will always get you on the water. As you progress, you will be able to ride it on windier days too.

3. I plan on changing my kites every year.
