Anyone know how long it takes to get a visa issuance number???My docs were sent to immigration on June 14th...

You should probably be getting it any time now. I actually got mine same-day once, but that was an emergency, needed a new visa kinda situation, and my boss had a friend at immigration.

Should be ready this week. Mine took 5 days from receipt in Pusan.

It took my school five weeks to get back to me. My documents reached Korea on May 10 and I did not get a # until the second week in June.

It typically takes 4-10 working days AFTER they actually get to immigration.

Your school or recruiter may have been the primary delay. Often they will sit on someone's desk for a few days before moving along. Hurry up and wait is a common trait in Korea.
